Why One Application Does Not Hold

Every repellent on the market wears off. Rain washes it, irrigation dilutes it, and new growth comes in untreated — and new growth is exactly what deer want. A single spray buys a few weeks on the leaves that existed the day it was applied.

What actually works is repetition on a schedule, timed to the growing season and adjusted after heavy rain, so treated foliage is never the exception.

Is it safe around pets and children?

Repellents are applied to foliage, not to lawn or play areas, and we will work around specific areas you flag. Tell us about pets, a vegetable garden, or pollinator plantings before the first visit.

Will my yard smell?

Most repellents have a noticeable odor for a short time after application and then fade to something people do not detect. Deer still do.

When should the program start?

Before the damage, not after. Early spring, ahead of the first flush of new growth, is when the schedule should begin.

Do you treat vegetable gardens?

Ask us. Product selection changes for anything edible and not every repellent is appropriate there.

What if it rains right after an application?

Significant rain means coverage is reduced. Tell us and we will look at the schedule.
