Pest Control For The Lake House You’re Not Living In

Your house has been closed up since Labor Day. You’re two hundred miles away. And somewhere in the back of your mind is the question you can’t answer from there: what’s going on inside it right now?

Mice come in when the heat goes off. Wasps build in the boathouse eaves. Carpenter bees work on the deck rail all summer while nobody’s watching. By the time you pull in the driveway in April, whatever started in October has had six months.

We live here. We can check on it.

Built For People Who Aren’t Here

Most pest control is designed around a family who’s home. Somebody lets the technician in. Somebody notices the ants on the counter and calls. Somebody’s there.

A lake house doesn’t work that way. So we built a plan that doesn’t assume you are.

  • You get photos after every visit. Not an invoice. Pictures. What we treated, what we found, and how the house looked when we left. Most of our lake customers tell us this is the part they actually pay for.
  • Tell us when you’re coming. Text us your arrival date and we’ll treat the house and clear the wasp nests within 48 hours before you get here. No wasps on the porch your first evening.
  • We close the house up for winter. Every October we seal the entry points mice use when the heat goes off and the house goes quiet.
  • The dock and boathouse are covered. Not just the house. Carpenter bees don’t care where your foundation ends, and neither do we.
  • Wasps, hornets, and mud daubers. Deck rails, screened porch, boathouse, grill area, dock posts. The places that ruin the first afternoon of a visit.

Why A Company From Atlanta Can’t Do This

Ask a national company to treat your house two days before you arrive. They’ll tell you when the truck is scheduled to be in the area.

That’s not them being difficult. It’s how their routes work. A truck driving out from Atlanta or Macon covers a fixed loop, and one house on a lake doesn’t change the loop.

We’re on Lake Oconee Parkway in Eatonton, minutes from most of the lake. Changing our schedule for you is a phone call, not a logistics problem.

We’re also already through the gates at the communities around the lake, with the vendor credentials to prove it.

What It Costs

Pricing is set per property, because a lake house with a dock, boathouse, and screened porch is not the same job as a house on a small lot. Call (470) 474-2847 and we will give you a number after we walk it.

Billed monthly. Annual agreement. Same as our other plans, with the extra work built in for a house that sits empty.

Questions People Ask

Do I need to be home for service?

No. Exterior service happens whether you’re here or not. For interior work we’ll arrange access with you — a lockbox, a gate code, or a neighbor. You’ll get photos either way.

What if I only come a few times a year?

That’s exactly who this plan is built for. The less you’re here, the more it’s worth having someone who is.

Do you cover the dock and boathouse?

Yes. They’re written into the plan, not billed as an extra.

Can you treat before I arrive?

Yes. Send us your arrival date and we’ll be out within 48 hours before you get here.

What about mosquitoes on the water?

Waterfront property is the worst mosquito situation in Georgia. We handle it with treatment and, if you want the porch and dock genuinely usable, a repellent system sized to the space. Ask us about it.
